KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Recreation Department is urging residents to be a little more green this Halloween.

They’re hosting ‘Pumpkin Smash’ event the Saturday following Halloween for residents to turn their old Jack-o’-lanterns and pumpkins into compost rather than sending them with the trash to the landfill.

The event takes place Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lower Grignon Park.

There will be games, food trucks, prizes and more.

“This year don’t trash your pumpkin, smash it instead.”

Paid partnership with StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly.
