KAUKAUNA — Want to support the new Aquatic Center? Be sure to shop at Kaukauna StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly through July 29, 2023 and round up your purchase.
The city hopes to raise $1 million of the estimated $6 million for the project from public donations through its “Something for Everyone campaign.”
Among the large donors so far:
- Unison Credit Union, $150,000
- Bernatello’s Foods, $100,000
- Bank of Kaukauna, $50,000
- Kaukauna Utilities, $10,000
- 100 Extraordinary Women
Financing
$1 million – Capital Campaign
$1.5 million – Tax Increment Financing
$3 million – City Borrowing (tax payers)
$500,000 – Parks & Pools Capital Funds
City leaders say the new Aquatic Center will change the way we think about our outdoor pool. It will be a gathering place for people from throughout the Kaukauna area and a source of summer memories that will last forever.
Improvements to the facility will include:
• Splash Pad
• Mini-Golf Course
• Water Slide
• Shade Structures
• Climbing Wall
• And More.
