KAUKAUNA – A 66-year-old Kaukauna man was arrested Thursday, suspected of a 12th-offense OWI in a hit-and-run on the city’s south side.

According to a news release, Kaukauna police officers responded about 7:30 p.m. July 23 to the area of Crooks Avenue and E. 5th Street for a report of a hit-and-run accident.

While officers were responding, the victim of the hit-and-run reported that they followed the suspect to a home on Wilson Street in Kaukauna.

Officers subsequently responded to the home to investigate and speak with those involved.

As a result of the investigation, the 66-year-old Kaukauna man was taken into custody, suspected of12th-offense OWI.

Formal charges have yet to be filed in Outagamie County Circuit Court.
