KAUKAUNA — In 1926, Rapide Croche Hydro began generating electricity from the power of the Fox River, marking a significant milestone in Kaukauna Utilities’ history.

Built to meet the growing demand for electricity and support economic growth throughout the region, the facility helped expand local electric service, attract industry, and establish a legacy of affordable, reliable and sustainable energy that continues today.

As Rapide Croche Hydro celebrates its 100th anniversary, Kaukauna Utilities invites the public to join them on Tuesday, July 21st at 10 a.m. in commemorating a century of innovation, community impact, and clean, renewable hydropower.

TAP TO RSVP

Please RSVP by Friday, July 10th so they can plan accordingly.

The celebration will include remarks from utility stakeholders, cookies and refreshments and guided tours of Rapide Croche Hydro.
