CHARLOTTESVILLE — Sisters Karly and Kally Merideth, part of the powerhouse Kaukauna Ghosts softball teams that won four state titles over five seasons, are back together again.

Kally Meredith announced this week she is transferring to the University of Virginia to join her younger sister Karly on the softball team.

Kally spent her first three seasons at Florida International University before entering the transfer portal after the team’s head coach retired following this past season.

The sisters were part of a softball juggernaut during their Kaukauna High School years.

Kally Meredith, a 2023 KHS grad, helped lead the Ghosts to the WIAA Division 1 state softball championships in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Karly Meredith, a 2025 KHS grad, helped lead the Ghosts to state softball titles 20222023 and 2025.

She redshirted this past season as a freshman at Virginia.

Kally just completed her junior season at Florida International and was a first-team, all-conference selection.
