FOX VALLEY — The annual Family Radio Network’s Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive is currently underway across the Fox Valley, providing a community-wide opportunity to support individuals and families in need.

The initiative, which runs through March 15, 2026, encourages residents to donate new, unused hygiene and cleaning supplies to help local crisis agencies meet the ongoing needs of those they serve.

According to a news release, these donations are vital because basic personal care and cleaning items are not covered by Wisconsin FoodShare benefits.

Over $6.7 million dollars worth of supplies have been distributed to 137 local crisis programs over the last 33 years!

The 2025 Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive helped stock the shelves of 137 crisis programs in 22 Wisconsin communities.

By collecting these products through community donations, local shelters and crisis programs can redirect their limited financial resources toward essential services such as safe housing, nutritious food, counseling, and education.

All items donated during the drive remain within the communities where they are collected to ensure local support.

Collection boxes have been placed at various businesses, churches and schools throughout the region.

In addition, residents can drop off supplies at participating Festival Foods and Walgreens locations.

For those who prefer to provide financial assistance, online donations are accepted, which will be used to purchase necessary supplies for the participating programs.

Most urgent needs include:

  • Soaps: laundry, dish, soft, shower gel, 2-in-1 shampoo
  • Trash bags (shelters especially need these for bedrooms)
  • Diapers (sizes 3-6 and Pull-Ups)
  • Deodorant (unscented)
  • Wet wipes
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Disposable razors
  • Tampons and maxi pads

The goal of the drive is to provide each participating agency with enough supplies to last for the entire year, ensuring consistent support for vulnerable populations throughout the region.
