COMBINED LOCKS — Combined Locks Public Safety is reminding residents to keep their pets leashed and to clean up after them when out in public.
“As many of us are out enjoying walks and parks, we’d like to remind everyone of our village ordinance,” read a post on the village’s Facebook page.
The ordinance requires that all dogs, cats, or other domestic animals must be kept on a leash and under the control of their owner or custodian at all times when off the owner’s property.
“This helps keep our community safe and enjoyable for everyone — both two- and four-legged friends alike,” it read.
In a separate post, the village said there is a dog feces problem at Coonen Park.
Dog owners are being irresponsible and leaving piles of dog feces on the ground where children play.
Please be on the lookout for the irresponsible dog owners and report them to the clerk’s Office: 920-788-7740 ext. 203 You can report anonymously.
