KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna High School National Honor Society is leading the annual Kaukauna Area School District-wide food drive from Nov. 3 – 25, 2025 to support local families in need.
All items will be donated to the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry.
“Your generosity makes a difference in the lives of people in our Kaukauna community,” read a post from the district.
Anyone can drop off non-perishable food items at their child’s school and help support the community.
The food drive comes amid uncertainly over FoodShare benefits for many in the community.
At first, the federal government said benefits wouldn’t be distributed in February because of the government shutdown.
But after a recent court ruling, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services says FoodShare members will receive a reduced amount of November benefits.

DHS is awaiting further details and guidance from the federal government and will work as quickly as possible to get information to the QUEST card vendor so funds can be added to recipients cards.
