KAUKAUNA — River View Middle School often poses the most challenges for morning drop off.

Kaukauna police are reminding parents that the student drop off loop is along the north side of the school along the river and can be accessed via the traffic light on Island Street at Elm.

Police ask that parents first follow the loop all the way back, then pull up in front of the school as far up as they can to allow for more cars along the curb. This helps avoid backups for cars on Island Street waiting to get in.

There is no student drop off in the front parking lot, this area is for staff/bus drop off only.

Additionally parents may drop off students across Highway 55 near the old library, or near Hydro park. Students can then safely access the school via the sidewalk or pedestrian tunnel, without crossing a roadway.
