KAUKAUNA — Florida International University softball’s Kally Meredith and Paige Miller were recognized as All-Conference USA honorees, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Meredith and Miller, both sophomores and high school teammates from Kaukauna, were named to the All-CUSA Second Team.

Miller, primarily a third baseman, earned a selection as an infielder while Meredith, who patrols centerfield, was tabbed a Second Team outfielder.

Meredith led FIU offensively with her .352 batting average, racking up 63 hits and 15 RBI. Her prowess on the base paths shined as she swiped 40 bases this season, the seventh-most in the NCAA and most in a season for any FIU player. Meredith ranked fourth in CUSA in hits and was also one of the league’s best defensive players.

She earns All-CUSA status for the second time in her career, being named both Second Team All-CUSA and to the All-Freshman team in 2024.

Meredith also has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team. A Psychology major, she holds an impressive 3.96 GPA.

Miller, a transfer from Wisconsin, made an immediate impact in the Panther lineup with her .351 batting average and team-high .432 on-base percentage.

She had a CUSA-best six sacrifice bunts in league play and had the third-most steals (9) in conference competition. Miller also walked 14 times and had three multi-RBI games in conference play. This is the first career honor for the third baseman from Kaukauna.
