APPLETON — A winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold at True North Energy on 120 S. McCarthy Rd. in Appleton for the April 19, 2025, drawing.
The winner has not yet come forward.
After learning about the win, True North Energy Manager, Melody Stoltz said, “What a great day. This is fantastic. It wasn’t that long ago we sold a winning $100,000 scratch ticket. I hope this win is a local winner.”
The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (7-25-37-39-63), plus the Powerball (1).
Powerball.com reported 11 winning tickets of $50,000 or more throughout in the United States, for the Saturday drawing. The estimated jackpot for tonight’s Powerball drawing is $139 million.
In Wisconsin in 2025, there have been seven winning Powerball tickets of $50,000 or more drawn including two this month.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery’s mobile app, available at the App Store or Google Play.
