GREEN BAY — The Green Bay Police Department has arrested a 45-year-old Green Bay woman as a suspect in connection with a reported homicide being investigated as a homicide on the city’s east side.
According to a news release, officers were sent on Sunday, April 13, 2025, around 11 p.m. to a home on the 1300 block of Smith Street for a weapon call.
When police arrived, the victim, a 41-year-old Green Bay man, was found dead inside the home with an apparent stab wound. The suspect was still on the scene and was taken into custody, according to police.
Witness interviews indicate that a domestic disturbance had occurred that evening.
The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time.
The public is not believed to be in any danger. This appears to be an isolated incident, and police are not looking for any other suspects.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional details will be released at this time.
