APPLETON — An Appleton police officer is being praised for his dedication to the community after going the extra mile to ensure a timely grocery delivery following an arrest.
While conducting traffic enforcement this week, Officer Jeremy Norris encountered a driver with an active warrant.
After taking the driver into custody, Norris discovered they were in the midst of delivering groceries.
Recognizing the potential inconvenience for the customer, Norris took the initiative to personally deliver the groceries.
This act of compassion and commitment to the community has earned Norris widespread praise and a shoutout on the Appleton Police Department’s social media pages.
