KAUKAUNA — Fans of Taco Bell could soon have an option right in town if a new proposed restaurant is approved by the city of Kaukauna Plan Commission.
The Commission on Thursday will consider a proposal for a new restaurant at 1800 Crooks Avenue on the site of the former Family Video, just across 18th Street from Dick’s Drive-in.
The site plan is for the redevelopment of the existing site.
Developer Pacific Bells proposes razing the existing building and constructing a new building for the Taco Bell.
The building has a foot print of approximately 2,240 square feet and will be located on the northern portion of the property, according to a site plan submitted to the city.
The building layout and design is similar to other recently built Taco Bells.
The property is laid out to accommodate 7 vehicles in the que line with the parking lot area able to handle addition vehicles to prevent the drive thru line from extending into a road.
