KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High School senior McKenna Lowe has had a historic golf career the past four years and will continue in college when she attends the University of Southern Indiana next fall.

Lowe made the announcement Friday on Instagram ahead of competing in Madison Monday and Tuesday in her fourth WIAA state golf tournament.

“I am extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to the University of Southern Indiana,” Lowe wrote. “I’d like to thank my coaches, family and friends for supporting me and allowing me to continue my golf journey. I’d also like to thank coach Sullivan for giving me this opportunity”

Lowe was named Fox Valley Association girls golf player of the year following this year’s regular season after helping to lead the Ghosts to the Fox Valley Association conference championship four years in a row.

Lowe, qualified for state as an individual her freshman year, then was part of the team qualifiers that past three seasons.
