KAUKAUNA — Authorities have made an arrest in relation to several reports of newly constructed houses being damaged with water from 2021 through 2024.

According to a news release, investigators from the Kaukauna Police Department on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2024 arrested a Kaukauna woman who was confined at the Outagamie County Jail.

Four charges of Criminal Damage to Property and four charges of Burglary are being forwarded to the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office.

Investigators say the woman entered newly constructed homes without permission, turned on various water fixtures and caused extensive water damage in the homes.

Investigators believe the suspect entered numerous other newly constructed homes to attempt to damage them in a similar manner. In total, the damages are in excess of $230,000.
