PACKERS ANNOUNCE GAMEDAY ELEVATION AND INJURY UPDATE
GREEN BAY — Packers QB Jordan Love has been downgraded to doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, the team announced Saturday afternoon.
The Green Bay Packers elevated QB Sean Clifford from the practice squad to the active roster for gameday. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Saturday.
Love suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee late in last week’s season-opening loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
Malik Willis is expected to start Sunday, and Clifford is exoected to serve as Willis’ backup.
Kickoff is at noon and will be broadcast on Fox.
