KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts football team was in control from start to finish with a 17-6 win over Neenah in a Fox Valley Association matchup.

A 55-yard Kaukauna opening drive ended with a Linkoln Xiong 33-yardd field goal to open the scoring at Bank of Kaukauna Stadium 3-0.

Kaukauna’s second drive of the game was fueled by two long Bron Schaefer to Parker Schuh pass plays, capped off with an Aiden Reardon 2-yard run put the Ghosts up 10-0

A 1-yard, fourth down run by Kyle Kress on the Ghosts third drive put led to a 17-0 lead.

After going 3-and-out on their first two drives, the Rockets put together a lengthy drive late in the second quarter, only to be stopped on a fourth-and 1, ending the half with a 17-0 Kaukauna lead.

The third quarter was all defense, with neither team able to put together a scoring drive.

In the fourth, Neenah ended the shutout with a score with 5:41 left, but a missed PAT trimmed the score to 17-6.

The comeback never gained any more traction, and the Ghosts win pushed their record to 3-1, 2-0 in the conference.

Kaukauna is on the road next Friday at Fond du Lac.
