GREEN BAY — Two backup quarterbacks and last year’s starting place kicker were among the cuts announced Tuesday by the Green Bay Packers as they trimmed their roster ahead of the season opener.

The team also announced running back A.J. Dillon has been placed on the injured-reserve list and will miss the season.

The team has traded for Tennessee Titans QB Malik Willis (pending a physical) in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round draft pick, placed TE Tyler Davis and RB AJ Dillon on injured reserve, placed DL Jonathan Ford on injured reserve/designated for return and waived/injured CB LJ Davis and LB Ralen Goforth. The transactions were announced Tuesday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.­­­
