Southbound lanes have reopened.
APPLETON — I-41 is closed in both directions between Richmond St to Northland Ave, due to a crash, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
The crash happened about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Alternate Route: Northbound I-41 traffic exit at WIS 96. Head east on WIS 96 to WIS 47. Head north on WIS 47 back to I-41 north.
Scanner traffic indicates a semi caught fire.
