KAUKAUNA — Clear skies overnight revealed a rare celestial display of the northern lights over the Fox Vally.

Kaukauna photographer Vic Olson was one of many to capture the Aurora Borealis as it danced its way over Kaukauna.

He photographed the images below on Doty Street by the post office in Kaukauna around midnight with his phone.

The Space Weather Prediction Center predicts additional Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) to pass through Earth’s outer atmosphere again Saturday night.

The skies in northeast Wisconsin are expected to be clear again overnight Saturday into Sunday, with the best viewing being from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
