KAUKAUNA — Wil Krautkramer has been hired as the new head coach for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts’ girls’ soccer team, the high school announced Thursday.
Krautkramer comes to the Ghosts with a full resume:
- 16 years playing experience at high school, collegiate and amateur-elite
- 6 years college coaching experience (UW-FOX and Lawrence University
- 15 years highs school coaching experience WCC Coach of the Year (2009 and 2010-UW Fox)
- 2023 FVA Undefeated Conference Champions/Regional Champions (Neenah)
- 2023 FVA Coach of the Year Award (Neenah)
- 22 years teaching experience
- 2023 Teacher of the Year Award for NJSD
“With a ‘starting now’ mentality, our team will take advantage of each moment and make each half our best half,” Krautkramer said in the news release.
Krautkramer is no stranger to the Fox Valley soccer scene.
He is a long time high school and collegiate soccer coach with over 30 years of playing and coaching success in the Fox Valley area.
Most recently, Krautkramer helped return the Neenah Rockets to the top of the FVA with an undefeated conference championship and a regional championship in 2023.
As head coach, his Neenah Boys earned a record of 30 wins 7 losses and 8 ties in his two seasons.
Krautkramer lives in Kaukauna with his wife Lisa, two sons Landon (12) and Lincoln (10) who both play for River Surge Soccer Club.
When not attending soccer or basketball training and games, Krautkramer and his family like to visit state parks, fish and attend local sporting events.
Camping and family get-togethers are a high priority when not attending sporting events.
