MADISON — Three Kaukauna Ghosts wrestlers have advanced in the title match Saturday at the the 2024 Division 1 state individual wrestling tournament in Madison.
Saturday’s championship matches feature two previous state title winners, a pair of undefeated wrestlers and two freshmen looking for their first state titles.

One of the top state title matches of the evening will be between Senior Lucas Peters at 132, who earned a title last season at 126 and Kellen Wolbert of Oconomowoc who won the 120-pound weight class a year ago.
Liam Crook at 165, one of six undefeated wresters in the Division 1 faces Caleb Dennee of Marshfield, also undefeated.
Standout freshman Andy DiPiazza is in the 106 championship in his first trip to state, facing another freshman, William Du Chemin of Wilmot.

FINALS ON STATE TELEVISION NETWORK: The championship final matches of all three divisions will be aired live on the WIAA State Television Stations WKOW 27.2, WAOW 9.2, WQOW 18.2 and WXOW 19.2, WVTV 24.1 in Milwaukee and WLUK (FOX)/WCWF(CW) in Green Bay/Appleton. The live programming will begin at 5 p.m. The finals will also be streamed live on the Network stations’ websites.
