WISCONSIN DELLS — Kaukauna Head Softball Coach Tim Roehrig was inducted Saturday evening into the Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

The banquet was held at Chula Vista Resort in the Wisconsin Dells as part of the annual WFSCA coaches clinic.

This year’s inductees include:

Tim Roehrig: The Ghosts have won the last three Division state championships after beating Superior 4-0 last spring in the WIAA title game.

That championship game victory was the 509th time the Ghosts have won a game under Roehrig’s leadership.

Roehrig’s teams have been to the WIAA state tournament and the Final Four a total of five times and have never been beaten.

They will be seeking number 6 and the fourth in a row in 2024.

Tom Anderson of Iola-Scandinavia fresh off his 440th career victory and a state championship in Division 4.

Deb Braatz of Waterloo. The Pirates won their 511th victory under tutelage and it took place in a victory in the state (final four) semi-final. Her teams have won four conference titles while playing in a very tough Capitol Conference.

Gene Van Dyck: In 2021, Dodgeville won the Division 3 state title. The Dodgers have also been to the Final Four three times, finishing runner up in 1994 and 2000.
