NEENAH — Kaukauna High senior Cole Mursau, a member of the Valley Swim Coop team, advanced to the 2024 WIAA State Swim meet with a second-place finish today in the 200 Medley Relay at the Neenah Sectional.
Mursau joins team members Tyler VanGompel, Hayden Hollenbeck and Ethan Bruce.
A week ago, Mursau helped lead the Valley Swim Coop team (Appleton West, Kimberly, Kaukauna, and Hortonville) to a second-place finish at the Fox Valley Association Conference Championship meet.
Mursau took home two conference championships, one in the 50 Freestyle and the other in the 100 Fly.
The 2024 State Boys Swimming & Diving Championships take place Friday and Saturday, Feb. 16-17, 2024 at the Waukesha South High School Natatorium.
