KAUKAUNA (WLUK) — Joe Russom has resigned mid-season as Kaukauna’s girls head basketball coach, according to a news release from the high school.
Russom, who won two Division 1 state titles as the head coach of the Appleton North girls, was in his fourth season as the head coach for the Ghosts.
Autumn Freeborn (Hennes), a former player at Kaukauna, will be the interim coach. Freeborn also served as interim coach in 2020 when coach Craig Hawley stepped down.
