KAUKAUNA — It was 25 years ago that Kaukauna Coffee & Tea opened its doors uptown, and the business is holding a special celebration Friday.

Owner Mamie Nickel said previous owners Mike Holborn and Ali Mothes will attend the event Friday, Jan. 19, 2024 at the coffee shop located at 127 W. Wisconsin Ave. in Kaukauna.

Holborn orginally opened the business in 1999. Nickel purchased the business from Mothes in 2022.

“Owning a small business isn’t for the faint of heart and the milestone of making it 25 years is amazing,” Nickel wrote on Facebook. “Come and share in our joy and let us say thank you for being an amazing loyal community of supporters for the last 25 years.”

Stop in for cake and lots of drawings. There will be KCT memorabilia on display from over the years and to share your favorite KCT memories.

Also, any in store purchase will get you a 12 oz drip coffee for 25 cents.
