KAUKAUNA — The Vandenbroek Kaukauna Fire Depaertment is welcoming in the New Year by welcoming its new fire chief.
Shaun Simon has been promoted from assistant chief to fire chief as of Jan. 1, 2023.
He succeeds Ron Young, whose last day as chief was Sunday.
Young has been with the department for 26 years.
He has held positions of fire fighter, captain, assistant chief and the past five years as chief.
