CHILTON — The North Pole Christmas Village is set to open the 2023 season Friday, Nov. 18, a week earlier than in the past.

The free-admission holiday display is located at N5207 Lemke Road, Chilton and is open from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 18-Dec. 23. The facility is closed Mondays.

The goal of the North Pole Christmas Village is to change the world for the defense of disabled individuals and children and the elderly who are forgotten at Christmas, according to Troy Campbell the creator of the holiday attraction.

This year’s experience has been totally revamped. The outside is like you never seen before and the inside has been expanded by 2,000 square feet.

Overflow parking also has changed for this year.

Instead of parking on the north end of the 6 acres and walking 200 yards to the building on the trail they have moved the overflow parking up next to the North Pole Christmas Village building.

Signups already are under way for private showings. LEARN MORE

The display began years ago in the backyard of Campbell’s Kaukauna home.

Campbell then moved the display to the Kaukauna Industrial Park in 2021 before finding a permanent home in Chilton.

Admission is free during the run of the event from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., closed Mondays.
