KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Ghosts girls volleyball team faces Appleton North Thursday in a WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal being played at Green Bay Preble.

Kaukauna, the 4-seed in the bracket, advanced to Thursday’s match with a three-set sweep of Ashwaubenon followed by a 3-1 decision against Green Bay Southwest to claim the regional title.
Top seeded Appleton North is coming off a three-set sweep of West De Pere.
The winner advances to the sectional final Saturday with a trip to state on the line.
