KAUKAUNA — Although students don’t have school Thursday or Friday, advance sale tickets for Friday night’s Kaukauna football game will be available at the activities office until 4 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday.

The Ghosts host West De Pere Friday in a WIAA Division 2 Level 2 playoff game.

Each school will have an allotment of 1,500 presale tickets, with the remainder being sold at the gates Friday.

Tickets are $6 each cash only, 5 and under are free.

The game will be livestreamed by Zaleski Sports, radio by The Score and on TV via NBC 26.

Top seeded Kaukauna advanced to the second round of playoffs after a 32-14 win over Brookfield Central.

West De Pere, the 4-seed in the bracket, rolled to a 27-0 shutout last week over Menomonee Falls.

The game has already garnered significant hype considering the history between the two teams.

Kaukauna won their week 2 matchup 25-22 after a 26-7 loss to West De Pere in last year’s state semifinal game put an end to the Ghosts season one game before state.

Earlier that season, the Ghosts lost a 43-42 nailbiter at west De Pere, highlighting how close the rivalry has been the past two years.

The winner will advance to Level 3 to play either No. 2 Homestead or No. 3 Cedarburg.
