KAUKAUNA — After clinching a Fox Valley Association co-conference title for the first time since 1995, the Galloping Ghosts were rewarded with home field advantage in the WIAA Division 2 football playoffs.
In brackets released Saturday morning by the WIAA, Kaukauna, a No. 1 seed, hosts Brookfield Central, a No. 8 seed at Bank of Kaukauna Stadium on their Level-1 opening round game.

Kimberly, Appleton North, Neenah and Fond du Lac of the Fox Valley Association also secured post-season spots.
Kaukauna, (8-1, 6-1) suffered its only loss in Week 5 against Fond du Lac.
A 14-13 win in Week 8 over Kimberly secured the co-championship. There are no tie-breakers when determining conference titles, only the final conference records count.
A year ago, Kaukauna advanced to the state semifinal game before losing to West De Pere.
