A new facility in Kaukauna offering a range of programs for people with disabilities in the is holding its grand opening Thursday.

KAUKAUNA — A new facility in Kaukauna offering a range of programs and resources tailored to people with disabilities in the Fox Valley is holding its grand opening and ribbon cutting Thursday.

The grand opening runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023 at 153 E. Third St. in Kaukauna.

The the Inclusion Community Center will be a place where everyone is welcome, and will celebrate diversity and promote social inclusion, according to an announcement on the organization’s Facebook page.

“We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate in community life, and we are committed to creating a welcoming environment that fosters a sense of belonging,” according to the co-founders

Co-founders Bryanna Moder and Shannon Diedrick, teachers in the Freedom Area School District, started the Inclusion Center after working with students of varying ages and abilities during their careers as educators in the Fox Cities.  

Moder has a background in special education spanning over 10 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our center’s mission.

Diedrick has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and licenses as a principal and curriculum director.
