KAUKAUNA — Associated Bank hosted its first Volunteer Day of Service on Wednesday where hundreds of colleagues companywide volunteered to make help their communities a better place.

More than 100 communities benefited from volunteer efforts that ensured food security and a related activity in their respective communities.

Colleagues from the Kaukauna branch helped the Kaukauna Public Library and Food Pantry with a variety of projects including assembling garden seed packets for kids and various cleaning and organizing activities throughout the library.

Although the weather prevented the group from working in the garden, it was great to see the kids garden with story book statues, sand for digging dinosaur bones, etc.

“We were absolutely impressed and blown away by what we learned and experienced,” said one volunteer.

Among the Associated Bank branches that participated:

More than 50 percent of colleagues volunteered,
Providing 6,000+ hours of service,
Equal to approximately $200,000 in community service value,
Supporting 200 nonprofits in 122 cities.

Paid partnership with StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly.
