KAUKAUNA — Mason Lillie and Avery Sutton had plans to enjoy a leisurely round of golf Tuesday at Eagle Links Golf Club in Kaukauna, but instead, they may have saved a life.

The two young golfers were making their way along the course when they saw a man collapse.

That’s when they alerted Gary Swick who called the ambulance, and the clubhouse staff, who jumped in to help, according to a social media post from the golf course.

“HUGE thank you to these young men. Their quick thinking and actions may have saved a life today,” read the post.

Other golfers were quick to comment on the post with their admiration of the two young men.

“These guys were some absolutely awesome upstanding young gentlemen,” wrote Riley Crowley. “Myself and Dale Edinger let them play through on the turn and we later found out about their good deed from Gary.”
