KAUKAUNA — Police are asking the public for help in finding a dog that they say bit a girl Saturday night in Kaukauna.

Police were contacted about 10:20 p.m. about a young girl bitten by a dog in the 200 block of Lemingrass Way.

The 7-year-old girl was bitten while in the front yard of a residence and received minor injuries, police said in a news release.

Witnesses describe the dog as a midsize, black, mixed breed dog with no collar. The dog was last seen running into the farm field/new home construction area east of Lemongrass Way.

If you are the owner of this dog, please contact the Kaukauna Police Department as soon as possible so that appropriate quarantine procedures set in place by Public Health can be implemented.
