KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Area School District and the Kimberly Area School District are among 830 school districts nationwide named one of the Best Communities for Music Education.
The award program, sponsored by the National Association of Music Merchants, recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders who have made music education part of a well-rounded education.
Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.
This is the fourth year in a row the Kaukauna has earned the designation. The announcement was made April 17.
