KAUKAUNA — Warmer temperatures are taking some of the fun out of winter in Kaukauna.

Winterfest, which was scheduled for this coming Saturday at Lower Grignon Park has been canceled due to poor conditions.

The Horseshoe Park ice skating rink opened Feb. 1, but closed Tuesday until further notice.

But with snow in the forecast for Thursday, you’ll have another chance to enter the city’s annual snowman contest.

Build a snowman in your yard or nearby park for a chance to win Chamber Bucks. Make it big or let it be little. Dress it up and add some personal touches. Go traditional or be creative. And most importantly, have fun!
