KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna High School varsity dance team has advanced to the state tournament Feb. 3-4, 2023 in La Crosse.

The Ghosts qualified for state by winning a regional championship in D2 Pom Saturday at D.C. Everest High School.

The team also finished fifth in D1 Kick.

At state, they will compete in both the D1 Kick and D2 Pom competitions.

The state tournament, hosted by the Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom Coaches Associatoon, will be held at the La Crosse Center.

Earlier this month, the Kaukauna Middle School Dance team won the state D1 Pom title at the Junior, Elementary and Middle School state competition at Port Washington High School.

The team also placed second in Kick.

Endorsed by WIAA (Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association), WACPC hosts competitions, educational events, recognition awards, etc. in an effort to constantly improve the cheer and dance athletic programs in Wisconsin.
