KAUKAUNA — Eleven students from the Kaukauna High School and River View Middle School choirs have been selected to participate in the 2023 WCDA All-State Choir program.

The event is sponsored by the Wisconsin Choral Directors Association and brings together hundreds of singers from grades 5 through college to participate in six all-state choirs under the direction of nationally renowned choral conductors.

The students will meet today and Saturday for rehearsals which will culminate in concerts on Saturday evening at the Lawrence University Chapel.

The following students were selected from Kaukauna:

Middle Level All-State: Emma Baer, Jillian Derouso, Thomas Bass (nominated by Roslyn Bauer)

High School Bass Clef All-State: Chris Degroot, Collin McPhail, Jacob Hamilton, Max Ashauer, Matthew Mielke (nominated by Joy Paffenroth)

High School Treble Clef All-State: Cierra Case-Keel, Liz Lamers, Reaghan Millard (nominated by Joy Paffenroth)
