OUTAGAMIE COUNTY — Law enforcement was on extra alert overnight for New Year’s Eve, a typically busy holiday for area agencies.

Between 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, 10 people were arrested and taken to the Outagamie County Jail, according to the daily jail log. Three of those people have been released. JAIL LOG

Recommended charges included at least 10 for disorderly conduct.

Two people faced charges of operating while revoked and one for failure to install an interlock device.

One person faces meth possession charges and another faces a charge of felony bail jumping.

There were multiple accidents on area roadways, according to dispatch calls, however the scariest was in Neenah.

That’s where a passing car struck a fire truck that was assisting at a crash scene on I-41 in Neenah.

At the time, I-41 south of Breezewood Lane was shut down for an accident.

Crews were on scene responding to the call when a car hit their truck.

Luckily, no firefighters were hurt in the crash.

The news release did not indicated if the crash was alcohol related.
