KAUKAUNA — Voters who wish to fill out their ballot ahead of Election Day for the Aug. 9, 2022 primary can vote at the city clerk’s office beginning July 16.

Remember that the use of absentee ballot drop boxes are not permitted under Wisconsin Law. Ballots must be filled out or returned in person by the voter at the clerk’s office, or mailed to the clerk’s office and received by Election Day in order to be counted.

Their are multiple statewide races with primaries. The Republican primary includes the race for governor and Assembly District 5, while the Democrat’s primary features the race for U.S. Senate.

Partisan Primary Election – Tuesday, August 9, 2022

  • Early Voting – July 26 – August 5 (M-F; 8:00am – 4:30pm)
    • All districts and wards should vote at the Municipal Services Building
  • Election Day – Tuesday, August 9, 2022 – polls open from 7:00am – 8:00pm. The normal two polling locations will be used on election day:
    • Aldermanic Districts 1 & 2/Wards 1 – 5, 16 (see map here) – vote at the Municipal Services Building (MSB)
    • Aldermanic Districts 3 & 4/Wards 6 – 15 (see map here) – vote in the Community Room at the Streets, Parks, and Rec (SPAR) Building (207 Reaume Avenue)
  • Please remember your photo ID.
