GREEN BAY — The Kaukauna Ghosts’ baseball team proved tournament seedings aren’t always a guarantee of future results.

The #11 Ghosts traveled to #6 Green Bay Preble Tuesday in a Division 1 Regional Semifinal and defeated the home team 10-8.

Kaukauna hopes to continue its winning ways Thursday when it travels to #3 Hortonville, who advanced with a five inning 11-1 win over Green Bay East/West. Brackets: Division 1

Tournament play continues next Tuesday, with sectional double-headers determining the state field.
