DELAVAN — A very winter-in-Wisconsiny thing happened Saturday in Walworth County.

The ice carousel returned to Delavan Lake.

After getting its start in 2018 on the lake near Inn Between Bar and the Delavan Yacht Club, it has made a one-day appearance each year that the weather cooperates.

The spinning disc of 18 inch-thick ice is 150 feet wide and took 2 days to prep, according to a post on the Lake Geneva Social Club Facebook page. (MORE VIDEOS HERE.)

It’s powered by a small motor, and if conditions are right, will slowly spin so people can step on and off.
