MILWAUKEE — A special stuffed bear has been separated from its owner, and now officials at the Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport are hoping viral photos posted to social media will bring about a reunion.

According to a post Monday on the airport’s Facebook page, the bear was likely left behind by a traveler on our about Jan. 4, 2022.

This particular bear is extra special because it’s the kind given to children who are born with congenital heart defects.

“We recognize how special this bear must be to someone — so, we’d love to get him back home!” read the post.

While we wait for the owner to come forward, he’s hanging out with our original left behind stuffed animal Violet!” the post continued, “enjoy their adventures below and if you recognize the bear — let us know!”

The post has been shared more than 4,600 times.
