KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Ghosts’ boys’ basketball team takes on fifth-ranked Appleton East Friday in a Fox Valley Association showdown at the Kaukauna High School gym.
The game is the Post-Crescent’s varsity game of the week, and will stream live HERE beginning at 7:15 p.m.

This has been a busy week for the Ghosts.
On Tuesday, Kaukauna (11-7, 7-6) fell to rival Kimberly 90-67, and there will be a quick turnaround after tonight’s game as well.
The Ghosts will host Burlington Saturday, but not in the familiar confines of the Kaukauna High School Gym.
Instead, the game will be played beginning at 4 p.m. in the Carl Giordana Gymnasium at Holy Cross, because there is an all-day girls youth tournament at KHS, and the gym floor at River View is deemed too slippery for a varsity contest.
This is the first varsity game to ever be played at Holy Cross in the long history of the gym.
Admission is the same as KHS games, and all passes will be honored.
The Giordana Gym is home to the annual, long-running Holy Cross Men’s Open Basketball Tournament, which draws some of the top high school, college and amateur hoopers in the state to Kaukauna.
The 53rd Annual Holy Cross Men’s Open Basketball Tournament will be held on March 25-27 and April 1-3 in 2022.
