KAUKAUNA — Early voting by in-person absentee ballot begins today, Feb. 1, 2022 in Kaukauna and continues through Friday, Feb. 11.

The primary for Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education is the only race on the primary ballot.

Voters from all districts and wards should vote at the Municipal Services Building downtown, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through Feb. 11. Primary Election Day is Feb. 15.

Please remember your photo ID.

Absentee ballots can be requested online at myvote.wi.gov.

There are eight candidates running for three seats on the board. Voters can choose up to three candidates, with the top six moving on to the April 5, 2022 general election.

The candidates as they will be placed on the ballot are:

  • Charles West
  • Melissa Kurey
  • Chad Berken – incumbent
  • Samantha Hoffer
  • Larry W. Coons
  • Christine Bouressa – incumbent
  • Kathryn Breitzman – incubment
  • Samantha Grimh
