Game times:

  • Boys Freshman 4:30 canceled due to illness
  • Girls Varsity/Boys JV 6pm

The Kaukauna boys sit at 1-3 in the Fox Valley Association conference, while Kimberly is 3-1.

On the girls side, both teams sit at 3-2 in the conference.

The game will provide an opportunity for fans to set aside their conference rivalries to support the family of Brandon Reichenberger, Appleton North’s head girls basketball coach, whose wife and son who currenlty are hospitalized following numerous health complications since October.

Brandon’s wife, Mary, gave birth to their son, Chase, prematurely in October of this year.

Shortly after, Mary was hospitalized with heart complications, while Chase had multiple complications of his own.

Both Mary and baby Chase currently are hospitalized in Madison.

Mary teaches at Hortonville High School and Brandon teaches at Appleton North and East high schools.

Paid Partnership

Fans attending Friday’s game can participate in a silent auction to raise money for the family.

Auction items include a Tyrese Haliburton NBA jersey donated by the Haliburton family. Haliburton starred at Oshkosh North while in high school.

Collecting Haven, from downtown Kaukauna, also donated a mini helmet signed by Charles Woodson.

All proceeds of a silent auction will be given to the Reichenberger family.
