ASHWAUBENON — Ashwaubenon Public Safety is trying to identifying the person who they say stole a donation bucket meant to pay for games for the troops.

The theft of the Games for Soldiers donation bucket happend on Nov. 9, and police released surveillance images of the suspect Thursday afternoon, which also is Veterans Day.

Gnome Games in Ashwaubenon uses the donations to buy games for soldiers stationed far from home or for veteran’s homes. ‘

According to a social media post from the store, they we were planning to use money from the donation bucket plus tips from their Wrapping for a Reason to buy games for the Wisconsin Veteran’s Home at King.

“We were still planning on using our gift wrapping tips and doing our best to send as much as we could,” read the post.
