NEENAH — Police say one person is in custody after a threat of violence forced the lockdown of three schools.

Neenah police were notified just before 1 p.m. today that there was a potential threat of a gun outside of Neenah High School.

The school was immediately locked down and Neenah Police responded along with other surrounding agencies, according to a news release from the school district.

Tullar and Hoover Elementary Schools were also locked down.

At about 1:35 p.m. the suspect was arrested and taken into custody outside of the Neenah Police Department jurisdiction.

The suspect does not attend Neenah High School.

The school district says there is no threat to students or the community at this time.
